Well they aren’t quite puppies anymore, in fact my sweet girl is 6 and my old man is over 12. We call them our sheep LOL, they are Australian Shepards and have so much fur that we have to shave them down in the summer. Two to three times during the summer we shear our sheep ourselves, it saves over $100 each time but man it takes nearly the whole day! They’ve been mostly outdoor dogs after we had our oldest son but now that the boys can mostly hold their own against the accidental knock overs from bouncy dogs, they have been spending more and more time inside with us again. The boys love playing with Shelby but Rusty has gotten to be such an old man and would rather sleep.
Here’s Shelby, isn’t she purdy? She’s a black-tri and reminds me so much of my dad’s old dogs. She can run like the wind, she can catch birds mid-air and keep up with bicyclists much to their surprise. And I just found out she can jump high enough to peek over the 6 foot high fence and spy on the neighbors.

And my childhood pup, Rusty. He’s an unusually marked red merle, he reminds me of a redhead with freckles. Rusty was my birthday present in 8th grade, we spent the summers taking naps together and learning a handful of tricks, fetch wasn’t one of them-he was too good for it
He loved to run but his hips have gotten stiff and now he just enjoys his naps again.

And now you know my dirty, dusty Aussie puppies. Want to come over and help give them a bath?

your pups are gorgeous!
These are so FUN! I love the creative images of these pooches… love love love them!
