The weather is finally gorgeous here in Phoenix, in the mid-70s but we deserve it after our summers, and we are back outside playing. The boys and I headed to the front yard to draw on the driveway with chalk and I took the opportunity to get some pictures of them when I knew they wouldn’t be running away from me .

They ended up playing a game of roll the chalk down the driveway, which of course turned into a “me first” competition until I convinced them to draw me a picture.

I love that we are barefoot in November!



I even got a few of them looking at me , don’t get me wrong they don’t hate having their pictures taken but as a photographer’s child they expect me to be quick and they want to see if it’s a good picture right away so it’s a one shot deal most of the time. And yes I’m training them to know a good picture when they see it, gotta start early!
